Environmental NGO WWF has said it remains concerned the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification of an Atlantic bluefin tuna fishery — confirmed on July 30 — comes too soon for fish stocks….
Make Stewardship Count: “Certification of a still critical stock is simply unacceptable. While Bluefin fisheries are certified now they only have to proof to be sustainable within 5 years! And if not, it might be too late already. The MSC is playing a very risky game!”
